My plant is about 1 & 1/2 foot tall and a little more then a foot wide and I’d like to start another plant for my son, he just got his own place and would love to have a aloe plant.

How to save a young Aloe Vera Plant out of it’s soil?
I was walking my dog around my apt complex when I noticed a bag lying on the ground with a very mature Aloe plant & a young one in a plastic bag, roots exposed & no dirt. I took the small one in hopes I could save it but I’m not sure how exactly. I don’t have any soil & can’t get any until the morning. What can I do in the meantime? & once I do have some, what do I do?

It will be alright for days. You want some sandy dirt. Cover past roots. Soak soil twice a month. More light the faster it will grow. Not too much light the first week while it roots.

Why does my aloe plant has little bugs roaming around on the soil?& How do I get rid of them?
I’ve tried to bring my aloe inside but there are little bugs that roam around on the soil & they sometimes fly around. What are these bugs & how do I get rid of them?
Right now, I have my plant outside with a towel over it. It seems to help it grow but I dont want to kill it during the winter months by not bringing it inside.
Any info will help!

mix up a little soap and water, using a spray bottle spray plants well rinse with clear water, repeat in 12 to 24 hours if need. OR use a mild insecticide spray. Dawn dish soap seems to work well for some reason.
