How can aloe vera be extracted? When we ground the aloe, it comes out as a mixture. Then what should we do?
My group is participating in a project to make a cosmetic product. One of the ingredients is aloe vera. But we are unable to extract it. We tried to mash it up and filter it in order to extract the juice, but is it the proper way to extract it? We looked up in the Internet and found that it is gel so we are not actually supposed to extract it this way. Please help.

How can I move an aloe plant that is in the ground?
I have 2 rather large aloe vera plants that I would like to move and also break up into smaller plants. How far do I need to dig to ensure that I get the roots?

you need to dig about 6in around the base and about 8in deep. then clean the dirt from around the roots. You can pull them apart or cut them apart you don’t need to be too gentle with them as the ones I moved are doing fine. I’ve done this to 4 different plants in the last 2 yrs spliting them up as I had 4 little ones around the big one. they are hearty plants. good luck and good planting………….
