Can I get poisoned by getting poked by an aloe vera plant?
I was poked by an aloe vera plant and my parents told me that it is poisonous and that it could be bad enough that I could get flesh eating disease! Is this true? And if it is what can I do about it?

I think your parents are playing with you.

If you ingested the plant, it could be poisonous, but not by being poked by one.

What are other methods of getting rid of a sunburn besides aloe vera?
I have used aloe vera in the past and it doesn’t help my skin at all! If anything it makes the pain worse. Anyways yesterday I got a sunburn that covers about 80% of my backside, and it has been burning up and like stinging and aching like crazy. I need a way to relieve the pain quick. Please and Thank You!

If your in pain you need to get calamine lotion. Put it in the fridge so when it is applied it is cold and helps ease the pain completely. If it is what I had, it gets worse at night due to prickly heat. Definitely use the lotion at night and during the day plenty of moisturizer. Hope this helps.

I know that most artists don t recommend products which contains aloe, but is it safe to eat and drink aloe yogurt or aloe juice after getting a brand new tattoo? Does what we consume in our bodies such as food and drinks have any effect on brand new tattoos?
Many thanks!

I’ve never heard of diet affecting a tattoo. As long as you’re applying the ointment, cream, etc that the artist recommended, you should be fine. I have to admit that I’ve never heard of aloe yogurt or juice before, but in my experience it’s most important what you apply directly to the tattoo.
