How can I choose aloe Vera plant in order to use it for hair?
I want to buy an ale vera plant because I want to use the jell for my hair. Is big plants better than small ones because I only found small aloe vera. Can I transfer it to my back yard?does it need me to buy soil or the back yard soil is enough?does it live in winter, in snow?how should I take care of it, the sunlight and soil?

Hey Moonflower,

The Aloe Vera plant is a succulent that requires above freezing temperatures. If it freezes, it will die. I leave my Aloe inside all the time, because after winter, the sun power can also kill the plant if not acclimated slowly. Large is far better, and your small one will grow into a large one over time.

Care for the plant is to have good drainage, and water with rain water. That prevents the flouride and chlorine in tap water from hurting the plant.

If you plan to use the gel frequently, I would guess that you may not be able to grow the plant quick enough for your use. An alternative is to purchase Aloe Vera juice/gel which is preservative free in your health and beauty aids department. I have a gallon jug in my refrigerator now. Believe it or not, you can mix it with your favorite beverage and drink it. See some of the web sites below on the benefits.

What would you choose between the beauty of innocence and the innocence of beauty?
Again…..what would you choose between the beauty of innocence and the innocence of beauty?
Someone mighty say beauty is evidently displayed but innocence is hidden, others would prefer both, but suppose you accept the dilemma between the two what would you choose.
As a lady what would you like people to esteem you for, between your beauty , if any, and the innocence in you if any?

Physical beauty is merely skin deep, and innocence is fine in children but not in adults.

I would not place either on a list alongside such true virtues as gentleness, sincerity, courage, perseverance, courteousness, and loyalty.
